Logorrhoea [def: excessive usage of words]

The question is not what to say; it’s whether you should say it or not.

Flippin it

Posted by E.T. [that\'s my initials] on January 24, 2008

Yep, you’ve seen it in the movies where it goes:

“Heads of tails?”

“Heads”

“Tails”

The coin is flipped, … spins in the air, … reaches the ground, … spins for a seemingly impossible time, and … comes to rest upright. So much for equal probability.

People often say life is like a coin; there’s always two sides to a story. I say life’s more like a ball; you’re gonna see it different from any angle, but it’s still the same ‘side’.

I wake up today: it’s raining. “Heck, I hate the rain.” So, I head off to school. Then, I meet a friend who says, “Thank God for the rain to cool down all the hot weather we’ve been having.” It was still raining. Now, I like the rain. A ball is not going to stay in the same place for too long.

Sorry Perry. If you can’t tolerate that, I can’t imagine how you’ve survived as Doron’s classmate for at least 4 years, maybe more. But now it’s a bit hazy in Klang. I wish there was some rain to get rid of it. hey, get a new post up la. I thought you were working on one some time back?

    “Now, I like the rain.”

Haha. I have a similar story. Back in school (I was 10-11 years old), I was riding the bus home one day when it started to rain. Who likes to walk home in the rain, right? As the bus started braking to let some of the other kids off, I made the comment to my friend sitting next to me, “Doesn’t it suck walking home in the rain?” She said, “Oh, no. I love the rain. :D ” My mind instantly changed. :D Haha.
